Brassavola perrinii, is a brassavola species, with beautiful rat tail leaves that become pendulous as the plant gets larger.

Fragrant at night with white flowers. Easy to grow and, like most Brassavolas, great for beginners.

Found in Bolivia, Paraguay, Brazil and possibly Argentina at elevations of 1980 to 2580 meters as a small to medium sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte with slender, terete, stems carrying a single, apical, narrow, terete leaf that blooms on a short, 3 to 6 flowered inflorescence with fragrant flowers that occurs in the spring and summer.

This is a blooming size in a 4” pots, newly repotted about 1 to 2 years to flower.

Orchid Care: Grow in bright indirect light with strong air circulation. Plants should be allowed to dry between waterings. Mature plants are ideal for mounting.
