Cattleya Myrmecophila schultzei

Found in southwestern Colombia on bare rocks at elevations around 1600 meters.

Medium sized, intermediate growing lithophyte with short, 6 to 6.8 [15 to 17 cm] long pseudobulbs carrying 2, apical, erect leaves that blooms in the late winter and early spring on an erect, elongate, many flowered inflorescence with the flowers congregated at the apex and with pink, elongate floral bracts.
