Cattleya purpurata x Cattleya tenebrosa - Cattleya Pacavia

A very free-blooming plant from the cross between the two great Brazilian Cattleyas: Cattleya purpurata and Cattleya tenebrosa.

This is a sib crossing between two excellent clones of this primary hybrid between Cattleya purpurata and Cattleya tenebrosa. When awarded, the clone had five flowers on a single inflorescence, over 6 1/2" flowers, and was commended for its "large flowers and fantastic coloration."
